Privacy policy

OnTrue Alarm (“we”) is an iOS app for time reminders and conditional alarms. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to reach us: support@ontruealarm.com.

Data we process

  • Alarm definitions. Name, conditions, schedule, alert style, and ringtone choice, so the alarm can fire on this device and, for conditionals, be evaluated in the cloud.
  • Push token. So we can deliver one fire to your iPhone when a conditional matches (Apple Push / FCM).
  • Installation id. An anonymous device id used to attach alarms, restore after reinstall when you sign in, and send product analytics.
  • Location. Only when an alarm needs it (for example weather at a place or a traffic route). Used to evaluate that alarm, not to build a movement history for ads.
  • Account (optional). If you Sign in with Apple or Google, we store the account identifiers Apple or Google provide (and email if they share it) so alarms can survive delete and reinstall.
  • Product analytics. Events such as alarm created, enabled, fired, or delivered (alarm id, type, sources, schedule kind). Used to operate and fix the product. Not used for advertising.
  • Live source snapshots. Weather, traffic, quotes, scores, and trains are fetched by our servers from third-party data providers so we can evaluate conditions. Those providers see the query needed for the snapshot (for example a route or a symbol), not your name.

Third parties

Depending on the alarm, our servers may call weather, maps/routes, market-data, sports, or train providers. Push delivery uses Apple and Google. Optional sign-in uses Apple or Google. We do not sell your information and we do not run third-party advertising SDKs in the app.

Notifications

Soft style sends one notification, then one-time and Always alarms turn off. Alarm style uses the system alarm presentation until you Stop or Snooze. You can disable or delete an alarm in the app at any time.

Retention and your choices

Alarm data stays while the alarm exists on your account or device. Delete the alarm, or delete the app (unsigned-in data stays on device until then). To request deletion of a signed-in account and cloud alarms, email support@ontruealarm.com from the address on the account.

Children

OnTrue Alarm is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change. The date at the top is the latest version.
